Fieldrunners 2 Privacy Policy

Fieldrunners 2 is published by Subatomic Studios, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and what it does not collect. The game has no accounts, shows no ads and does not track you.

What we collect: crash and diagnostic reports

The game uses Sentry, a crash-reporting service, to find and fix problems. When the game crashes, is stopped by the system, or starts a session, it can send Sentry:

• Crash data: the crash report, including when the system stops the game for being unresponsive or running out of memory.
• Diagnostic data: device model, iOS or iPadOS version, memory figures, the game's version and build, and technical settings such as which graphics quality the game is using.
• Product interaction: a short trail of what happened before a problem, such as which screens were shown and the names of game events (for example "Store Open"). It never includes what you bought, prices or receipts.
• Device identifiers: a random ID the crash reporter creates when the game is first launched, and a one-way hash of the app's vendor identifier. They let us count how many installs a problem affects.

This information is not linked to your identity. The game never sends your name, email address, Game Center ID, contacts or advertising identifier, and it does not ask Sentry to record your IP address. We use these reports only to keep the game working, never for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell them. Sentry processes them on our behalf and deletes them automatically after its retention period.

What we do not collect

• No advertising, advertising identifiers or tracking across other apps and websites.
• No analytics or marketing services.
• No location.
• No accounts, names, email addresses or contacts.

Features provided by Apple

• Game Center: your scores and achievements go to Apple's Game Center. The game uses your Game Center nickname as the name of your local profile on the device.
• In-app purchases: payments are handled entirely by Apple. The game checks the receipt on your device and does not send it to us.
• iCloud: if iCloud is on, your saved games sync through your own iCloud account. We cannot read them.
• HD artwork: where offered, higher-resolution art downloads from Apple's servers.

News and update checks

To show the in-game news ticker and to tell you when an update is available, the game downloads a small text file from our news server and asks the App Store for the current version. It also reads the current date from apple.com. These requests contain no information about you or your game. As with any internet request, the servers that answer them see your device's IP address. Our news server is hosted by Cloudflare.

Sharing, photos and music

If you choose to share a score or screenshot, the game opens the share screen or the service you picked, and what you share goes where you send it under that service's terms. Links to our Facebook and X pages open those services, which apply their own policies. The game asks for photo library access only to save or share screenshots, and for music library access only so you can play your own music while you play. Nothing from your photos or music is sent to us.

Children

The game is rated 9+. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the diagnostic reports described above do not identify anyone.

Your choices

Deleting the game removes everything it stored on your device. Saved games in iCloud can be removed in Settings under your Apple Account, iCloud, Manage Storage. For any question or request about your data, contact us at the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
